Don’t Be Afraid of The Dark 2011 Trailer, Synopsis and Review

As we have informed earlier, "Do not Be Afraid of the Dark" is one of the most anticipated horror movie attendance in theaters in 2011. Produced by horror film specialist Guillermo del Toro and directed by Troy Nixey, Do not Be Afraid of the Dark is a loose remake of the movie titled the same that aired in 1973.

Seeing the trailer, the story of this horror film resembles the classic horror films like Boogeyman or The Amityville Horror. Do not Be Afraid of the Dark starring Katie Holmes, Guy Pearce and Bailee Madison.

Do not Be Afraid of the Dark 2011 Synopsis
Together with his father Alex (Guy Pearce) and new girlfriend Alex, Kim (Katie Holmes), a small girl Sally (Bailee Madison) moved into a mansion that has existed since the 19th century. Alex and Kim are planning to renovate this house and then sold at high prices.

One day, Sally, who felt lonely and did not fit with his stepmother found a small door. From this small door Sally heard someone ask to be released so he could play along with Sally.

Tempted by the sound of it, Sally opened the door and thereby release the evil spirits who wanted to pick it turns out to be a part of them.

Because Sally's father did not believe this story, Kim alone Sally trying to protect from evil spirits in the house. Will he succeed?
